Calling all appreciators of good music. A good song should make you feel like you're floating. It is a great way to escape your troubles or simply plunge into your feelings. And other times you just want to jump around without a care in the world. Maybe you're on a long roadtrip and you do the thing with your hand out the window, the music drowning out all the world's issues. I can appreciate that.

I would describe my taste in music as eclectic... I can appreciate good music from any genre. Pop, alternative, country, rap, rock, blues, classical, and so many others. There are VERY few that I dislike, in fact there are three in total. While I am not sure why I don't enjoy those specific songs, I can still appreciate them, which I hope that everybody can do. We can still appreciate songs we don't love. That said, we can definitely appreciate songs that we do love!

Shall I share some of my favorites? Oh all right, you don't have to beg.

Lately, these top ten songs have been on repeat + 1 song for fun.

-Shut up by Greyson Chance

-Miss me by Yung Pleit

-Napkins by Riz La Vie

-BLUR by Stellar

-About by Another Michael

-Asylum by Desi Valentine

-679 by Fetty Wap

-Cruel Summer by Taylor Swift

-Supercuts by Jeremy Zucker

-Butterflies by Stefánsdóttir

-One of them girls by Lee Brice

That isn't to say I don't enjoy the classics, of course. Whether that's the greatest hits of the 80's or the pop era of the 2000's, I of course love it all, as so many others do to. There is just something about music that can transport you completely.

My top five classic songs of all time is difficult to pin down, but here's a shaky go:

-Your love by the outfield

-Eleanor Rigby by The Beatles

-Jolene by Dolly Parton

-There she goes by Sixpence None the Richer

-(What did I do) to be so by Louis Armstrong

I wouldn't say that I have always been such a fanatic, however. Now that I do consider myself one, there is much that is new to me. Some of these songs that are considered big, I am just hearing, and loving just as much:

-Beautiful girls by Sean Kingston

-La Da Dee by cody simpson

-S&M by Rihanna

-Talking Body by Trove Lo

(and so much more that I haven't heard yet :)

We can't forget about disney songs because those hold a special place in my heart:

-We don't Talk about Bruno from Encanto

-Reflection from Mulan

-Hakuna Matata from The lion king

-Colors of the wind from Pocahontas

-Remember me from coco

... and obviously many many more!

If all you need is a good song to listen to, something to break up the monotony, or are simply wanting some new music, feel free to explore! I know I always appreciate hearing something new for the first time, then obsessively listening to it on repeat for days straight, getting to know the ins and outs! Hopefully, you can just take the time to appreciate some good music!

OOH wait, there's like three songs I didn't mention, but I just love too much to not include:

-Yellow lights by Harry Hudson

- Ghost by Justin Beiber

-Hope that they love you by wingtip

(obviously I could go on and on with all these songs, but here just some of my favorites)

Okay, now go and enjoy!
